Description CPR AED, is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage, choking or sudden cardiac arrest emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives. Students learn adult and child CPR and AED (1 year of age and older), along with how to relieve foreign body airway obstructions. CE/CME credits are not offered for this course.
Who Should Take This Course? This class is designed for individuals with limited or no medical training, who need a CPR/AED certification card for either personal reasons, or for work purposes in order to meet job, regulatory or other requirements. This class is perfect for the layperson, such as: parents, babysitters, fitness instructors, educators, childcare professionals, coaches, camp counselors, correctional officers, security guards, corporate response teams, etc. This class is not for the healthcare provider or any medical/nursing student (please see BLS Class for Healthcare Providers).

Course Format During the course, the Instructor conducts video-based lessons and works with students to complete their CPR and AED skills practice and testing.
Course Completion Card Upon completion of this course, students receive a CPR AED Course Completion Card, valid for two years. Cards will be processed as eCards, and usually received within 3-5 business days following the class.
